Stand Still

I long for those lost moments,
When you saw me..
&the world stood still.

I miss the minutes that ticked by,
When we spoke,
&the world stood still.

I miss you &I as a team,
When it was us against the world.
&the world stood still.

Past moment only lead to pain &regret.
For you can’t change the past,
&you cannot foresee the future.
All you can you can do is live in the moment.
&make all your moments stand still.

  1. A lot of the themes you write about are topics I also explore in my notebooks. Loving your deep thoughts–thanks for sharing!
